কেন অন্যগুলো ভুল?
A. gerund: Gerund-ও দেখতে Verb + ing এর মতো, কিন্তু এটি বাক্যে Noun (বিশেষ্য) হিসেবে কাজ করে। যদি বাক্যটি এমন হতো- "Carrying a bouquet is difficult," তবে 'carrying' হতো Gerund। কিন্তু এখানে এটি Noun হিসেবে নয়, বরং Medha-এর অবস্থা বোঝাচ্ছে।
B. infinitive: Infinitive হতে হলে সাধারণত to + verb (যেমন: to carry) হতে হয়। এখানে সেই গঠনটি নেই।
C. verbal noun: Verbal Noun মূলত The + verb+ing + of এই প্যাটার্নে থাকে (যেমন: The carrying of roses)। এখানে 'carrying' সরাসরি Noun হিসেবে কাজ করছে না এবং এর আগে 'the' বা পরে 'of' নেই।
