The Season I Like Best (Spring)

Introduction: There are six seasons in Bangladesh. Among them I like spring very much. After the end of winter, my favourite season spring sets in. It comes with new life and enthusiasm. It is a season of dream and desire and so I like it most.

Comparison with other seasons: Summer is a hot and warm season. Sometimes scorching heat is felt in this season and so this season is unbearable and intolerable. The rainy season is a season of rain and flood. And this flood causes untold miseries to lives and liabilities.

Autumn also assumes the characteristics of the rainy season. During late autumn coldness is felt and unbearable coldness can be felt in the winter season. But spring is the moderate season. Neither much cold nor much heat is felt in this season.

Season of leaves and flowers: It is true that spring is the season of leaves and flowers. During winter almost all the leaves and flowers wither away. But during spring trees are in new leaves and flowers. Nature assumes beautiful shape and people become romantic (প্রেমাপ্লুত) and imaginative.

Season of Song: Spring is the season of song. During this season the singing birds sing songs and make environment melodious. Besides, during this season, people feel like singing songs as surroundings assume wonderful colour and shape.

Duration: My favourite season lasts for two Bangla months Falgun and Chaitra. After the end of spring, Bangla new year begins.

Conclusion: Though my favourite season spring lasts (স্থায়ী হওয়া) for only two months, it stirs up my mind and mentality. It leaves an indelible print on my mind. And so I cannot forget its influence as well as attachment all the year round.

যে ঋতুকে আমি সবচেয়ে বেশি পছন্দ করি (বসন্তকাল)

সূচনা: বাংলাদেশে ছয়টি ঋতু। এদের মধ্যে আমি বসন্তকালকে খুব ভালোবাসি। শীতের শেষে আমার প্রিয় ঋতু বসন্তকাল শুরু হয়। এটা আসে নতুন জীবন ও উদ্দীপনা নিয়ে। এটা হচ্ছে স্বপ্ন ও ইচ্ছের ঋতু। আর তাই আমি এটাকে সবচেয়ে বেশি পছন্দ করি।

অন্যান্য ঋতুর সাথে তুলনা: গ্রীষ্মকাল একটি গরম ও উষ্ণ ঋতু। এই ঋতুতে কখনো কখনো অসহনীয় তাপ অনুভূত হয়। আর তাই এই ঋতু অসহনীয় ও দুঃসহ। বর্ষাকাল হচ্ছে বৃষ্টি ও বন্যার ঋতু। আর বন্যা জীবন ও জীবিকার প্রতি অবর্ণনীয় দুর্ভোগের কারণ হয়। শরৎকালের বৈশিষ্ট্যও অনেকটা বর্ষাকালের মতো। হেমন্তকালে শীত অনুভূত হয়, এবং শীতকালে অসহনীয় শীত অনুভূত হয়। কিন্তু বসন্তকাল হচ্ছে সহনীয় ঋতু। এই ঋতুতে খুব বেশি ঠান্ডা বা খুব বেশি গরম কোনোটাই অনুভূত হয় না।

পাতা ও ফুলের ঋতু: এটা সত্য. যে বসন্তকাল হচ্ছে পাতা ও ফুলের ঋতু। শীতকালে প্রায় সব পাতা ও ফুল ঝরে যায়। কিন্তু বসন্তকালে গাছে আসে নতুন পাতা ও ফুল। প্রকৃতি চমৎকার সাজে সজ্জিত হয়। আর মানুষ রোমান্টিক ও কল্পনাপ্রবণ হয়ে পড়ে। গানের ঋতু বসন্তকাল হচ্ছে গানের ঋতু। এ ঋতুতে গানের পাখিরা গান গায় এবং পরিবেশ মধুর করে তোলে। তাছাড়া, এ ঋতুতে মানুষের মনে হয় তারা গান করে কারণ চারপাশের পরিবেশ বর্ণিল সাজে সজ্জিত হয়।

স্থায়িত্ব: আমার প্রিয় ঋতু স্থায়ী হয় বাংলা দুই মাস ফাল্গুন ও চৈত্র নিয়ে। বসন্তকালের পরে বাংলা নববর্ষ শুরু হয়।

উপসংহার: যদিও আমার প্রিয় ঋতু মাত্র দুই মাস স্থায়ী হয়, তবু এটি আমার মন ও মানসিকতাকে উৎফুল্ল করে তোলে। এটা আমার হৃদয়ে এক অমোচনীয় ছাপ ফেলে। আর তাই আমি এর প্রভাব ও স্পর্শ সারা বছরে ভুলতে পারি না।
